Weekend in Singapore Day 2

So after a few hours of sleep, it was time to wake up, freshen up and cooked our own breakfast. Yes, they provided us breakfast of eggs, toast and tea/coffee but we had to prepared it ourselves. There's also laundry services, free internet, pool, and foosball available. All in all this place is really good for backpackers. It was my 1st experience living in dorms and hotels such as this but it was a good 1.

73, Dunlop Street..this is where it is located

Before leaving for Sentosa

This gorgeous pussy sleeping on the reception desk..c the way it is so adorably aslept

The reception

Shoes are not allow anywhere in the hotel, so can c all the shoes behind

The dorms..all double decker beds..sheets, pillow cases and blankets will be provided when u check in

Foosball

The common kitchen where u cooked ur own breakfast n eat

The common tv..hmm this looks like someone fr the back n side..can u all guess?hehe

I think this must be the super peak season, with the sch holidays, Xmas coming and it was the weekend, alot of ppl headed for Sentosa Island as well. We queued for about an hour at Harbour Front office before finally getting the tickets for the cable car. It's SGD 16.90 for an all round ride. I find it kinda expensive. I cant rmb how much was it the last time.

Me, Sian n HW on the way to Sentosa

In Sentosa, except for me n JW, the rest of them took the package which includes the Underwater World and Cineblast. So while they were at thosse places, me n JW decided to try out the Luge and Skyride.

The luge..u can actually control the speed of this thing urself..i tink a more fun than the go cart in Genting..hehe

So the luge will go all the way down to Siloso beach...look while ppl are swimming in the sea, those huge ships behind are giving off dark smokes, polluting the environment..how clean r the waters..i leave u to tink

It's a very hot day..always good for some ice creams..me licking my strawberry cheesecake ice cream fr Ben n Jerry. Good ice creams but melts really fast. The Chunky Monkey in my ode hand was already melting while i did payments at the counter

@ Siloso Beach

The skyride..the carts for the luge are actually hook onto this lift to be carried back..

The view from the Skyride

So, we decided to hang out at Coffee Bean while waiting for the rest.. 2 bottle of Snapples cant seemed to fulfill my thirst quest..neway Snapple tasted pretty artificial

And after a long while, we decided to walked around and take more pictures..so..me at the Carlsberg sky tower where u can get a bird view of the whole Singapore supposedly

Need i say more..hehe

Just relaxing at the Merlion

At night, we moved on to the Jewel Box, which is actually Mount Faber station. Nth much to do der..but more of a nice place for photographs..

We at the Jewel Box

Starry Night Fairyland which composed of like 5 Christmas trees

White Xmas tree...my white xmas..hehe

This is actually the world's tallest artificial Christmas tree..a majestic height of 61 meters

'snow falling' on us at the Enchanted Garden..

After EY they all had left, me, HW and JW ventured on to Faber Point, where we get to c the whole of Harbour Front and Singapore

There's also a merlion here..

the city skyline

On the way back, i managed to captured the Jewel Box dazzling exterior cladding of tree motifs edifice that emanates twinkling glow of starlights and seasonally hued color changing washes

Dinner was at Asian Kitchen in Vivocity and a few more photo takings before we headed back to JB..hehe..

Swarovski crystal Xmas tree

A green snowman

This looks like a Xmas tree out of Toy Story..haha..

It's quite a tiring 2 days trip in Sg and despite getting myself into a sore throat situation, i enjoyed myself thoroughly with my friends. :)
