Glad they had a good time and i can't stop laughing seeing my bro in his formal shirt. Damn funny! haha :p (this part is totally pointless actually but i just feel like crapping here)

Earth Hour in KT

At 8.30pm today, did you turn off your lights?

I did. I know some of my friends who did too.

I wasn't in KL to participate the Earth Hour walk at Capsquare nor able to see how KLCC went all dark for an hour. I wonder how was it like in KL. Did the whole city really went dark? Like you know, 8.29pm the whole city are so beautifully lit and the next min, 'boom', total darkness! That would had been such a sight to behold.

Anyway, I am in turtle land aka Kuala Terengganu. Seriously, i doubt Earth Hour manage to raised much awareness among the ppl here. Some ppl said why shd we support Earth Hour? Whats the point we turn off the light for this one hour and then continue wasting energy for the rest of the year? Of course, we don't turn off the lights just for the sake of Earth Hour and then continue wasting electricity and contribute to more global warming. Earth Hour is suppose to raise more awareness among more ppl that a simple act such as switching off your light each time you don't use them can bring huge changes to our Earth. We often forget to turn off our lights or turn off any electrical appliances when not in use. So, let's just make it a habit to remember switching off the next time we don't use our lights or electrical appliances.

Me and a few of me friends initial plan was to buy pizza and go eat by the beach and enjoy our dinner under the stars and just chill and chat and look at how KT respond to Earth Hour. But then, at about 6, it started raining so heavily as tho telling us the beach is a bad idea.

# 17 - KT town from my room 2 hours before Earth Hour

15 min b4 Earth Hour - Honestly i doubt there will be much changes here in KT. Perhaps because Earth Hour is still pretty much a new thing in Malaysia so a lot of Malaysians are not aware or thinks the idea is ridiculous or simply just don't care.

We drove down to KT town and headed straight to Pizza Hut instead. Well, if you think Pizza Hut turned off their lights and let us romantically dine in candlelight, you are so wrong. In fact, Earth Hour or not, the whole KT town was still so brightly lit. All the streetlamps are on, lights on the buildings are on and Pizza Hut, KFC and all the other restaurants and Chinatown did not turn off their lights at all. So disappointing. I knew of a few other premises and church that participated actively to support Earth Hour too, but other than that, even the gov is not showing support by not turning off the lights from the gov administration buildings and street lamps.

So, it seems like Earth Hour had a very tiny impact here in KT. Other than hosp surgical, labor room, emergency department etc and the police station and other emergency department, i really don't see why other outlets can't turn off their lights for even an hour. If they can't do it for just this one hour, i don't quite expect them to be doing it any other time.

Stuff crust Hawaiian chicken

Pepperoni delight

There we go - dinner at Earth Hour at a brightly lit restaurant! haha!

Our New Dean

" Nature has taught us much about stealth, where perfect camouflage can mean the difference between catching lunch or becoming lunch "

Anyway, to all my fellow friends and seniors here in KT, did anyone received any email from anyone from KL informing us on who is the new dean of our Faculty of Medical Sciences? Or had everyone else received the email and im the only one not getting it?

I came across this from one of the pharmacy student blog, Vun informing us on who our new dean is. (i assume since he got the email fr UCSI, it is reliable)

Our new dean is Dr. Jammal Ahmad bin Essa and he will be replacing Dr. Ruslani.

Dr. Jammal was apparently the dean of UPM and another reason why i find his name familiar is because he wrote the foreword for the book, 'Don't Worry Be Happy', a medical student motivational and inspirational guide. I first heard about the book last yr from Eugene when he send me the book to look through b4 going to AMSC Tokyo. (fyi, the book is written by a doctor in the psychiatric department in HUKM).

So yea, he will be assuming office in April. I don't know if (think) we will get to meet him anytime soon here in KT. Just hope he is well, nice. :)

Project 365* - #11- #14

It's been so many days. Last few days had kinda been hectic for me, presentations and uni 'tuff. Everything was kinda routine - morning clinic/ward, bst, noon class, nite on call and the cycle repeats (except nite on call). Here's to recap what i did in the past few days so that my Project 365 is not abandon (determination!!haha)..

#11 (22/3) - My super old model Samsung. Maybe not super old but kinda like many many years back. I think the model is x160. Should be. Hmm, im 99% sure. I bought this like when my Nokia 3310 died and i just needed anode phone that can call and sms. But, this fon even comes with mms. And it's smaller than the size of my palm, sleek and small. Very convenient to bring around especially when you don't plan to carry a bag out compare to those high tech and canggih smartphones and PDAs that are big and bulky. Sounds like im trying to promote my fon for sale. Anyone want? Only selling for RM 300. Price negotiable. hahaha. Kidding!

Actually, the purpose i put up this fon pic is because well, im hoping to receive a sms from a very important person. So, this VIP, msg me back soon, ok? (i noe some of you sure think this VIP is DD but nope, answer is not him, anode VIP, guess yourself :p). I'm sure many of you had experience awating msges from some VIP in your life at some point of time and sure can understand that it is not fun nor cool waiting.

#12- Rushing presentation.

#13- My backpack finally came :). Firery red! Nice color i think. At least if i get stranded, hopefully you guys can spot my striking backpack from afar. (if got yellow more striking). haha.I bought this online. Cheaper than retail price. 6 years back, i was still doubtful of online shopping and i always fear of scam blogshops and ppl cheating your money and after you bank in the money and your stuff will never arrive. But now, i learn that online shopping is about trust too and blogshop owners should never breach the trust of their customers. Personally, i like real shopping than shopping thru the cyberworld, but if i can get the stuff at a cheaper price online, why not? Besides, it is convenient and certain stuffs you can find online, you can't find it outside (as in within M'sia).

#14 - As you all can see, im finally able to update my blog tonight which means to say, im kinda not so busy anymore. haha! Nah, actually, i just felt kinda of a momentary relieved (till the next cycle comes that is like next week) from the tension buiding up around me these few days now that presentation is over, my bst presentation is over, case summary also fin anode one.. hehe (what-la, like this oso can tension? not the tension tension but it's those naggy feelings of things undone and it seems like never ending work, if you know what i mean). So, a very happy me had A & W by the beach today. (whatever calories i had burn from swimming was just gained by this one meal :p ) I heart curly fries. Compare to normal fries. I also heart criss-cut fries like those from Carl's Junior. :)

This pic taken only with my camera fon, so the colours are not so nice. Saw the halo on my head? It's an angel in disguise enjoying curly fries. hahaha. kidding! :p

Thats all for now. Updating soon :)

A New Word

I learnt a new word tonight. When the patient said 'kayak', the first thing that came to my mind was

Yup, this. As in kayakking..

But, i later found out that in the local Terengganu bahasa, 'kayak' (im unsure of the spelling tho, correct me if im wrong, thanks :) ) actually means......

Yes, this - Herpes Zoster or more known as shingles.

Among the adaptations i need to pick up in turtle land includes their local language. It's more or less the same as BM but certain words in BM actually means something else here and it can lead to severe miscommunication or even misdiagnosis if we do not know the local language. :)

Earth Hour

In exactly one week, it's Earth Hour! I'm sure by now many of you have heard and know of Earth Hour. If not, you can read here for everything you want to understand about Earth Hour.

"This year, Earth Hour has been transformed into the world’s first global election, between Earth and global warming.
For the first time in history, people of all ages, nationalities, race and background have the opportunity to use their light switch as their vote – Switching off your lights is a vote for Earth, or leaving them on is a vote for global warming. WWF are urging the world to VOTE EARTH and reach the target of 1 billion votes, which will be presented to world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009."
So on March 28 2009, you can VOTE EARTH by switching off your lights for one hour.

Or you can vote global warming by leaving your lights on.

As bloggers, we can also contribute by participating in the Earth Hour Blog Version. Here's what you need to do :

Copy the image below :

And add your blog name if possible :

In that one hour of darkness, what can we possibly do? Some of the ten suggestions given were :

1. Attend a local Earth Hour event or organise your own by throwing an Earth Hour street party with your neighbours
2. Gather family & friends for a night picnic in your local park and look at the stars
3. Enjoy a family dinner by candlelight
4. Organise a treasure hunt in the dark
5. Take the dog for a night walk
6. Have a candle-lit bath
7. Sit in the dark and share stories
8. Organise a family night playing board games
9. Share a romantic night in with your loved one
10. Upload your ‘on the night’ photos and videos to flickr and YouTube respectively, and then add them to the Earth Hour flickr group and the global YouTube Group.

We can also sleep during that time. :p

So, come on everyone, lets vote EARTH at 8.30pm local time next Sat. :)

Do let me noe if you decided to join Earth Hour. We can come out with something together-gether. :D

Easter Rally

After weeks of hard work from fellow CG members especially the leaders, today is finally the day of our Easter Rally. We have to bring forward Easter celebration due to certain reasons but i personally think (and everyone else that i had asked) that the whole event was very well-organized and it went smoothly. And from the happy faces of our friends, i do think that they enjoyed themselves. :)

This is the venue for our Easter Rally. The add is also there. Just in case anyone who wants to locate the church :p

As with all other events, we started off with ice breaking so that everyone can warm up to each other and wake up from their sleepiness

So, everyone were given a set of questions and they were supposed to find ppl that can be the answer to those questions. Jo Lyn very happily scribbling down her name for H

There were also performances after the worship. First off was this sign language dance that was beautifully done.

The invited speaker- a cardiologist from Kelantan. You must be wondering why was there a structure of the skin on the slide. Actually, Dr. T was trying to tell the story of Easter based on medical evidence. Interesting to look at it from a diff point of view

Lastly, they ended the event with a song because everyone was hungry!

Usually makan time is also the time for photo taking. Among some of the pics we took : Seniors, juniors and one sesated "girl"

3 dota lovers enjoying their water melons

# 10- And finally, a group pic.. our shirt very nice rite? hehe.. Pink and blue samore.

Over Hor Fun and Dumplings

It's close to a year since i last saw this sweet girl with two cute dimples on the cheek. We did not get to meet when we are back in JB, in fact each time we met was out of JB like in KL or Penang. Why does two JB-rians who think JB is better than Penang (:p) always don't get to meet up back in their beloved hometown? All because of USM and UCSI weird management. Our holidays never get to meet and each time my holi starts, it will be the end of hers or vice versa. --"'

So, it's such a joy that we were able to meet up for a short 2 hours over dinner at one of the coffee shop in Penang that DD claimed has one of the best dried hor fun and dumplings. Over hor fun and dumplings (and mamak later), we laughed, we gossiped (oops i mean update), and we talked silly things.

I can't rmb the name of the coffee shop but despite raining heavily that day, it had very good business. It is located at the turning into Lorong Selamat.

Hor fun with char siew. This is the usual Cantonese style. Actually the dried one is the more popular one but we ordered wrongly! hehe (i also only knew it after dinner!!) Still nice.

Mix pork and prawn dumplings and wan tans. The fillings are so abundant and it's so juicy. Nice also :)

I do realize that my update on Penang is kinda slow. But im really busy these days. If not i be tired and sleeping. So, yea, a few more updates to come; slow and steady :p

I'm a Musicon Celebrity thanks To Maxis Broadband

Ever wonder of how your life will be if you are a celebrity? For me, being a celebrity is almost like a dream cz it's something quite impossible for me now and i don't exactly like the lifestyle of being constantly scrutinize and judge by the media and public. The loss of privacy and freedom are what i consider the price to pay for all those glamor and wealth. BUT, i won't mind and definitely love to be in the shoes of these glitzy and popular celebs for just one day to live the A-class life of these rich and famous and experience what it feels like to be a star. :p

If i can choose to be just one celebrity for just one day, maybe i want to be in the hot and cold Katy Perry's shoe..

Or maybe this forever sexy R & B/ soul singer Alicia Keys..

Or maybe Princess of Pop Avril...

Or so what, i can even be Pink!..

I will have my own private plane to jet me off from my hill top sea view penthouse to Maldives for a morning jog by the beach as i admire the beautiful sunrise, then jet away to Japan for the freshest sashimi and sushi breakfast, fly off to Paris for a french mani and pedicure, stop by London on the way to get my hair done and meet some of my fans, fly to Lake Michigan for a short nap, then off to New York for a sumptuous lunch in one of those Michelin 3-star restaurant. My pilot will then take me to Milan to shop till dusk and we will have the best xiao long bao in Shanghai for dinner before jetting off to my 30-storey condominium in Dubai.

I will pamper myself silly with all the spas, facials, massages and jacuzzi as i try to find some inspiration to compose my next song. I will have headache in selecting between my fav Ferrari or my beloved Brabus or my priced Lamborghini to drive down to meet my treasured fans at the launch of my xxx album. I will also host private parties and invite all my friends and we will drink by the pool, dance under the moon and ........*smack*

Ok, STOP dreaming. Time to get back to reality. Sob!

But, but, but... there's still hope! Even though i can never live a life like this, there's still a chance i can dress up as my fav musician celebrity and go party with the rest of the cool Nuffnangers and be a celebrity for a night right?

Don't care! Have to say right! Because............

1. I couldn't concentrate on anything else right now except thinking of Nuffnang Music Bash 2009

2. I'm already thinking of who i wna dress up as :p

3. I wna have some exciting fun and i'm sure i will have an awesome lot of fun

4. I wna meet the rest of the Nuffnang bloggers

5. I'm a MAXIS user (plus point plus point!! hahaha :p)

6. Just give me the pair of ticket cz i want to go

7. Or give me more pairs so i can invite more of my friends to go (wishful)

8. No more reason. My heart and soul just say they wants to go too

9. And my hair and hands and legs agree that it's time to rock and roll

10. I'm going to stop being lame. I just WANT to go. Period. :)

Nuffnang Music Bash 2009, here i come!! haha

Thank you, Maxis Broadband :)

PS : If you are not yet a Nuffnanger, register yourself with Nuffnang now, start blogging and you can win yourself invites too! ;)

Project 365* - Getting to Know It

Time never seem to be enough these days. I felt myself occupied each day after i came back from class that i had no time to update my blog.

This is just a short post on my Project 365*. Well, Project 365* is a project in which any individual can start. You start by taking a photo everyday, and it don't even have to be your photo at all. It can be any pic of anything interesting that happen to you on that day, or any pic that can tell a story of your life on that day. To further understand what this project is all about, read here. I find this idea pretty intriguing and i love to read back on things that i had done or happen to myself after a while, so i will try to keep up to this project for the next 365 (minus 3 cz i started on Thurs.haha) days. :p

So now that you guys are clear of what im talking about the next time i mention Project 365*, i like to add that this # (hash) sign indicates the day of the pic. Sometimes i wont even have time at all to update my blog daily, so i will just update one shot and i will caption the pic according to the day they are taken. Eg #2 means day 2. And the days are counted from the day i start my project which is last Thursday. Ah, now i feel like im giving a lecture, but im hope you guys won't be confuse reading my blog :). So, b4 you all starts to get bored, im just gna post a short recap on what i had been doing for today and the last 2 days :)

#2 - Playing dress up with the housies because we were too bored.

#2.2 -  This is actually a dress. Versatile dresses these days. hehe

#2.3 -Big head pics!

It's been raining like crazy these few days. But despite the heavy rain on Sat, we still went swimming. Trust me, the water wasn't as cold as i thought it would be and staying in the water was actually warmer than staying outside of the water with the wind blowing.

# 3 - This is the female pool. This pool for Sukma last year has finally open to the public after being closed for so long and it's one of the cleanest pool i swam in so far. It is divided into a male and female pool so guys and girls won't mix. Good in a sense because it's safer for the girls especially girls that go swimming alone. Don't have to be scare of being disturb or molested or anything.

Till my next update, take care everyone. :)

Cheap And Superb Prawn Mee

The title says it all..

Cheap and superb prawnie-prawn mee (+ meehoon) for only RM 2.50.

It's been so long since i last tasted prawn noodles this good. Authentic prawn noodles. A sip of the soup and you know it definitely took hours to boil the shells of the prawns. And it's spicy enough. Simply irresistible even if it means we have to go all the way to Balik Pulau and after a very filling lunch.

Yes, the hideout for this superb prawn noodle is in Balik Pulau, Penang. And it's not easily visible by the roadside. Guided by DD's bro, he took us past all those row of shophouses where there's already a lot of stalls selling prawn noodles, char kuey teow and penang laksa. Then we turn a few turn until we sort of reach a fishing village alike and he said if we go further down, we will reach the sea.

But no worries, i saw Rapid Pg buses coming into these area, so it can be accesible by buses too. :)

Away from the busy streets of Penang, this special prawn noodle stall is located along this road

Finally, we found the place. The stall is actually located right in front of a house which i believe is their own house and opposite the house is this river with fishermen boats

It's very kampung style houses around and you have to walk a bit in to reach this stall finally. B4 reaching the stall, there is another stall selling fried lo-bak which can be seen more easily from outside

This stall only opens during the weekend, which means only on Sat and Sun and they only sells from 2pm (or sometimes 1pm depending on themselves) onwards. Usually within 1-2 hours, they will have sell off every single bowl. Besides prawn noodles, they also sell penang laksa but trust me, although their prawn noodle is delicious, the same cant be said for their penang laksa. Still, i saw a lot of ppl eating both. The place was packed when we got there and we have to wait almost 20 mins for a table. I think you can ask around the locals and you shd have no prob getting there. ;)

Another discovery on Penang. hehe.. Neway, i will update my Project 365* soon.

Too sleepy now. heh :)

Project 365* - #1 : Fried Roti Canai

#1 - Fried roti canai. The 2 yellow arrows are pointing to the fried roti canai which looks like kuey teow

I figure there is no such time as too late to start or a specific time to start my very own Project 365*. So, why not start today? hehe..

My very first pic for Project 365* is this plate of fried roti canai or more fondly known as roti canai goreng locally that i had for dinner just now. It's not a very uncommon food or anything, it's a very common Indian food in fact and common mamak food but it's my 1st time trying it. (don't really eat a lot of Indian food b4 this..hehe).

When the plate of fried roti canai was placed b4 me, i was kinda surprised cz i had expected it to be some sort of fried conventional roti canai. Not like this. Shredded and almost looking like char kuey teow or mamak style fried kuey teow with slices of chicken and the vegetables. None the less, with the lime squeezed over it, the blend of a tinge of sour with salty sensation goes off pretty well although it's certainly very oily and fattening. LOL.

*Burp* *excuse me*

Still digesting those shredded and fried roti canai from a few hours back.

Gna catch a movie meantime. hehe..

Good night :)

Maths and Science in English- Yes, No?

Last Sat, there was a street demonstration against teaching Maths and Science in English.

Well, well this issue had never really resolved since it was introduced six years ago, had it? I remembered sometime last yr there was a proposal to revert back to teaching Maths and Science in Malay Language and there was also tons of letter of objection written by parents/ teachers concerned against it and so Maths and Science in English stay put. Last Sat, DAP's Teresa Kok ally decided that they want Maths and Science in Malay language and so went on a street demonstration.

Personally, i do prefer learning Maths and Science in English. I was the first batch to go through STPM with Maths and Science in English. At that time, we just finished our SPM and for 11 years of our primary and secondary sch, we had been learning Maths and Science in BM, so you can imagine what a big change it was for us to adapt to learning those 2 subjects in English. The teachers were all inexperienced at teaching the subjects in English and i bet plenty of money had been poured in to buy those learning cd-roms, laptops, learning materials etc to assist teachers to cope with teaching students in English. I remembered one of the main reason the gov wanted to change both of this subject to English is because they wanted Malaysia students to be on par with undergraduates around the world by the time students gets to the university level. No doubt, every subject at university level is taught in English, so aint it better that we start early with a foundation of those subjects in English? As the first batch to experience this major change in form 6, we had a lot of translations to do and so often than not, we always thought of the term in BM and then we will be thinking of how to say it in English. It took us some time to get use to it but by the time i was in uni, i was really glad that i had had both the subjects foundation in English because most of my lecturers are from overseas and they only teach in English and almost all of them obviously do not know the BM term, so if we had not been expose to English earlier, can you imagine how much more trouble it will take us to start adapting at uni level and we will have so much more difficulty translating the terms. And for those that goes abroad, it will be even easier for them to catch up because of the foundation in English. A lot of latest journals and up-to-date references that are available through the internet are also in English medium. Why stick to BM and your source of information will be so limited? When students go on exchange or mix with students from other countries, at least they don't feel that lost when it comes to Maths and Science.

I do agree that a lot of students are weak in Maths and Science because they are weak in English in the first place. But will it made a difference if it's converted to BM and they are also weak in BM? Many rural pupils (and even urban students or in any place at all) are not only weak in English, they are also weak in BM. When you teach Maths and Science in English, those English-ed or with strong foundation in English will be able to adapt and do better. Likewise, when you revert them back to BM, only those that are already good in BM will be able to catch hold better. Teachers should be the one to polished up their English grammar and vocab first so they can delivered their lecture to students well and able to explain till their student understands. Furthermore, we can still maintained teaching both subjects in English and at the same time have extra classses for those who are weak in English to attend English lessons. If the students refuse or is reluctant to pick up the language, they will never learn it no matter what. It's exactly just as BM is not my mother tongue and i don't grow up in an environment surrounding BM 24/7, but in order to catch up with classes back when Maths and Science is still in BM, we go for BM tuitions and so on. I use the dictionary to translate terms/words that i don't understand to English (a language i have better command in). It's not a good reason to say just because your English foundation is not strong, we have to revert back to BM. It's a very selfish reason that just benefit a small community of ppl. It's really up to the students to work hard. One thing that was suggested was that students grab a strong command of English first before learning Maths and Science in English but i don't see the difference of introducing the subject right from the start and midway. If the student is already poor in handling the subjects in English from the start, introducing it midway (or at uni level) will only make him weaker and tougher to cope.

Bottomline is, if they are never gna try to improve their English, introducing the subjects in English at any level will be the same to them. Gov shd also do continuous assessment of teachers teaching the subjects in English to ensure the teachers are not having difficulty and problem themselves.

I really will like to see my children in future learning Maths and Science under the Malaysia education system in English. Please don't revert it back to the Malay language. Many of us do prefer having the subjects teach in English and as one of them who had experience the transition of having both the subjects taught in English and BM, learning in English is definitely better, more fun and more beneficial in the long run. Gov had also spent millions on converting BM to English, so don't waste taxpayers money by reverting it and having to come up with millions more to revert the whole system. It is such a waste of money, time and energy. 6 years is also too short a time to evaluate. Please don't create another hoo-haa just so that we have another topic to fight on. I'm sick of opening the newspaper and getting daily dosage of these type of fights.

I'm neutral in politics, i don't support either parties. Both parties have their pros and cons and these time, im supporting teaching Maths and Science in English and that does not imply which side of the bench i'm on.

I really like to know, how many of you will really like Maths and Science to be taught in BM (Malay language)? Do leave a comment and share your opinion. :)

Bukit Genting, Penang

It seems that no one had gotten the answer right to the question of my previous post. So no need to give away prizes.. hahaha

Anyway, the place i wna introduce today is Bukit Genting (Hill), Penang. Wonder what this place has to offer? Yummy Thai food with a breath-taking view of sunrise or sunset while dining at the hilltop. :) In short, it's another look out point in Penang. When DD's mum suggested that we go over there for dinner, i was kinda excited because i had never been there and Thai food sounds very feasible. We planned to leave early from home so that we could reached there at about 6.30pm because that will be the best time to witnessed the sunset.

Alas, it seems that everybody remembered differently on how to get there. This spectacular place is somewhat hidden in Balik Pulau, not a place DD is very familiar with as he seldom goes there. (he been there only once). So, we turned the place, passed Teluk Kumbar town a few times, while watching out for two huge water tanks as DD's mum and bro remembered that at the water tanks, that's where we will see a brightly litted signboard that directs us up Bukit Genting.

So, as not to confuse all of you, Penangites anot that had never been there but like to go up there, if you are coming from Bayan Lepas, passed Teluk Kumbar town first, then just follow the road straight until you passed a mini Indian temple and go on until you see two water tanks on your right. Bukit Genting is on your left. :). It's really easy once you find the place.

The road uphill is pretty steep and i supposed one requires good driving skill to get up and down the hill. Besides the Thai restaurant, there's also chalets and spa for visitors. Myth had it that the restaurant was actually a gift from the restaurant owner to his pretty Thailand wife as her birthday present and she had decided to open it up to the public to share the beauty of the place with everyone.

We reached the place at about 7.30 pm but the sun was kind to us that day to set a little late. We still managed to catch glimpse of the sun lining the turning dark sky. Everything else below looks like patches of black with blinking lights. That's Turtle Island from the hill top. Luckily it was not raining too. The evening breeze is cool and the panaroma is simply spectacular.

The sun setting in the horizon. Beautiful.

The blinking lights of the city below.

Just so as to know what those black patches really are, i took this pic from another look out point on the way down from Balik Pulau to Air Itam the day after. It's paddy fields and rows and rows of houses. Not forgetting the cute, little Turtle Island in the distant.

I saw this potrait of woman painted on one of the many ornaments that decorated the place, so was wondering if this is the Thai wife. hehe

Bukit Genting Hill. That's what carved on the stones behind.

Spider web alike lightings to welcome visitors. Erm..

<3 <3 <3 Here are just some food pics that will make your stomach rumble. Don't look on if you are already hungry. :p. Overall, i think the food is pretty good especially the green curry chicken and tom yam. DD said at one point, the food actually became quite bad tasting but had since improved again. Kerabu mango

Pucha (stuffed crab shells) - only RM 3.50 one. So cheap. In KT, it's RM 8 one!! But KT one has slightly more crab meats, only slightly. :p

Tom yam seafood

Green curry chicken.. Gosh, drooling at the thought of it now

Two diff type of fish - Keng Som Plak (steam fish with Thai sour chilli sauce) and Pae Sai (steam fish in special Thai sauce)

Otak otak with very big prawns, plenty of onions and wrapped in foil. I might be jakun but i never eaten otak otak like this before.. haha

Stuffed omelette Thai style

Deep fried mix vegetables and also prawns

Kailan in oyster sauce

Tab tim grob (waterchestnut with jackfruit)

And finally, last desert of the day is ice creams with chestnut! Nestle rainbow ice creams.. Donkey years since i last ate Nestle rainbow ice cream :)

The road coming down is pretty dark with only a few lights every now and then, so had to be careful driving down too. Next time must go earlier to catch sunrise or sunset..hehe.. This post is kinda long but hope its informative enough.. :p Hope you guys enjoy the place :)
